The GRS is an EW laboratory suite in a modular approach used to simulate dense and complex electromagnetic environment that contains radar systems, jammers and other types of radio communication systems.
GRS is a compact and flexible combination of:
- Radar Transmitter (GRS/T)
- Radar Receiver (GRS/R)
- Radar Target Simulator (RTS)
- Threat Signal Simulator (TSS)
GRS & RTS work together as a closed loop simulator for jammer’s tests. TSS acts as an opened loop simulator for receiver’s tests.
Weapon Delivery & Navigation Simulator (WDNS) is also included in GRS: WDNS may be useful for navigation data coherency between simulator and SUT in a 3D dynamic scenario and for data collection and analysis.
GRS package also includes the following items:
- Data Collection and Analysis (DCA)
- Computer System (CS)
- Measurement Instrumentation (MI)
