Radar Target Simulator (RTS)

OUR PRODUCTS:

RTS design is based on the capture of the radar emission in order to analyse it and generate radar echoes that are coherent with the radar emitted waveform.

RTS can be considered as a standalone solution or the first part of the closed-loop simulator used for jamming effectiveness analysis and works with the General Radar Simulator (GRS).

RTS can be combined with TSS, which create input signals for target illuminator radars simulation or direction of arrival in coherent and synchronized association with the TSS.

Based on DRFM (Digital RF Memory) or PDDL (Programmable Digital Delay Line) and high-speed digital controls throughout FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and Digital Signal Processors (DSP), RTS brings a high level of flexibility and allows the following functions performed in real time :

  • Complex targets generation, coherent with radar waveform
  • False targets generation & noise jamming
  • Clutter generation with different operational modes
  • Chaff generation
  • RGPO/I jamming mode
  • VGPO/I jamming mode
  • Bin Masking
  • Inverse gain
  • Noise generation
  • And others ECM techniques implementation


The RTS is based up to 8 channels 2GHz Digital RF Memories with Doppler shift modulation capability as fine as 1Hz resolution. Up and Down conversion are very wideband 0.1 to 100GHz, agile < 100ns and fully phase coherent.
